Youth for Human Rights International World Tour 2006 in Italy

Youth for Human Rights International made the subject of human rights come to life for the children at a summer camp outside the city of Padova.

The Youth for Human Rights World Tour arrived in Italy this week, the 5th country of its 2006 World Tour. Here the group premiered public service announcements promoting the 11th and 12th Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: The right to be considered innocent until proven guilty and the right to privacy.

In conjunction with the Church of Scientology International, the group has created 30 short public service announcements (PSAs), each one depicting one the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. With music and imagery that communicate to people of all ages, these PSAs show how human rights are a vital part of everyone's life.

A representative of the regional government of Venice thanks Youth for Human Rights International for the work they are doing and presents the group's president with a plaque and a flag of the city.
On the 11th stop of the Youth for Human Rights World Tour, these children promote that all people have the right to be treated as innocent until proven guilty.
